Undifferentiated connective tissue disease? I worked in a scleroderma unit for a while.

Hi Yes, it is! I am not really sure if I have got Scleroderma as things are changing all the time with me.

Let's hope you don't have scleroderma. I hope you're under a good rheumatologist who knows his/her stuff concerning 'the scleroderma spectrum disorders'.

I've not heard of this, do you mind me asking what it is and how it affects you? I like to learn new things and about other people, but no requirement!

Thank you @Cantilip. I hope I haven't got Scleroderma either. It is more worrying than the UCTD! I have told the helpline at the hospital as they work with the Consultants. It has taken a good while but, luckily have a decent Rheumatologist.

@Jimm_Scope no worries. It is a very complicated illness. I only understand bits of it. It is an illness that my body attacks itself. (Auto Immune) I will get end up with more Auto immune illnesses related to it and already have done. It messes your whole body up. There is no cure and it can do damage in some cases. The only medication you have are Steroids, Anti malaria tablets, Anti rejection or Chemo. I am back on another Anti malaria tablet as I cannot agree with many tablets as they make me feel even worse than the illness is. I hurt all over. Even my hair hurts. Funny with gluten, wheat and cows milk. Allergic to the sun. Rashes and itchy. React to eating certain foods that feel like an eletric shock is in my mouth. Foods like strawberries, apples, raspberries, goats cheese and rice cakes etc.. Other illness releated with this are Hypermobility, Raynaud's, Fibromyalgia etc… I have these and more. I have a bad cough. Dry eyes and throat. My throat is very bad some days and I am very tired and cannot remmebr what day we are in. I feel useless and hopeless and very fed up. (Sorry!). The illness itself is a "before" you get Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritis. (I have to have three postive blood tests for these and I have two positive). Sometimes you will end up with these or it may stay as it is. You have to have a lot of blood tests and I am phobic of them. My bloost tests end up positive and then they go negative and the negative ones go positive! This is why I have a lot of blood tests.
