Motability & EV Charging

Something we discovered at a recent mobility show in Birmingham,
Motability will cover the cost & install of an EV chargepoint.
Having tested a couple of cars at the show, IF I ever get a car again its def gonna be electric.
And our landlord (Habinteg) has stated they will let us have this. (although they won't let us add batteries, despite most of the street having solar panels, they benefit from this apparently)
And yes there's a hell of a lot of misinformation & myths about electric cars.
If you want some more info have a read of this doument

Unless I can get help, physically plugging in an EV - Unfortunately I will lose my mobility if and when EV's become the only choice for cars !

Why is that out of interest? Do you currently get help putting petrol or diesel in? The charge plug is usually around the same height on the car and the wall mounted chargers are at about waist height on homes around here so I don't see that it's much different to physically plug in.
Had I lived on the ground floor I would have swapped my diesel car for an EV 3 years ago and probably not have lost the ability to drive locally. EV's are definitely better for some people, but not everyone.

YES I do - I use an app called "fuel service" - I send a txt to warn my local petrol station that I am coming and there is someone waiting to help me as soon as I arrive !
