Pip
hi all new here.
I had my PIP assessment on Monday (8th July) received a text message 2 hours later from dwp stating they had received my written report.
Today (10th July) I rang dwp for a copy of my written report and the guy on the phone transferred the call to my case manager? I have never read of this happening before but I spoke to my case manager and she has sent me a copy out. She never mentioned anything about my claim etc but has anybody else experienced this when ringing for your report and could this mean they have made a decision but I don’t know it yet?
thanks in advance.

It happens sometimes. It happened to me quite a few years ago when I rang PIP they put me straight through the a case manager. It doesn't mean anything other than that. A decision can take up to 12 weeks after the report was returned.
Please also note that the report isn't a decision, it's a recommendation only. Although they mostly go with it, it has been known for them to go against it.

yes I only want my report incase anything is wrong on it or has not been wrote correctly etc. I was not going to ask for it as could cause me more anxiety but sitting here not knowing what is on it is also causing that.
Just thought it was a little strange they transferred me to my case manager, made me abit anxious but glad to hear it does happen, thanks for your reply.0
