Heya @queen_k it's great you're looking to do some volunteering! Have you looked at our site for possible roles? It's not just shop work with us. 😊

There is not any volunteer opportunities near me. I would really like to Volunteer with Scope as it will help me with my application that I am filling in for my new adapted vehicle.

Is it possible to speak to someone over the phone to discuss further with more options

So apparently there are no volunteer opportunities with Scope

It's great that you are looking for a suitable role as there are many benefits to volunteering and many other charities but your local council is probably your best bet for local opportunities and accessibility information.

Hey @Queen_K, I really appreciate your enthusiasm for volunteering. I'm sorry there are currently no volunteering positions at Scope available for you. However, new volunteering positions to get put up over time so please do keep an eye out for them. In the meantime I believe we sent you some resources in an email that might help you in finding a possible volunteering opportunity with another organisation until a Scope opportunity opens up?

Hi @Queen_K, there's quite a few websites you could try:
- CharityJob - if you select Volunteer from the options it will show you the volunteering roles
- Indeed - like with CharityJob, you might need to select 'volunteer' from the options when you search their website
- I want to volunteer (NCVO)
- Royal Voluntary Service
- Your local council might have some ideas about organisations or local charities that would like volunteers
- Individual Volunteering | HandsOn London
Sometimes volunteering roles come up at different times, so if you don't find anything right now it's worth checking every week or so to see if anything new has come up 😊
