Hi, my name is Suepugh! Will I have to sign off ESA for the summer period?

Hi,
I am looking for some advice please, I have been claiming new style ESA since my statutory sick pay ran out and have been on nil pay since the 10th July but taken a period of annual leave and contractual term time over the summer period so will get payment as part of my contract( but still on sick) I then am finishing on ill health retirement. Am I right in thinking that because New style ESA is not means tested and I am still sick with a medical certificate and not actually working or providing a service just getting payment I will not have to sign of ESA for the summer period? Regards

You are correct, it will not affect your ESA. You should still report that to ESA just so that they are aware.
