Won PIP Appeal
Hello. I won my PIP appeal on the 24/07/2024 which will be backdated from the 04/10/2023. ( i got awarded daily living component at enchanted rate and the mobility component at enhanced rate) I had a phone call from them this morning asking if i had been in hospital, abroad, jail and if i could handle a lump sum of money.
I don’t know when my payment date is yet but they said i will soon receive a letter. it is now with the case manager. can anyone tell me what the next steps will be please?

That is good news.🙂
There should be no more steps from your side. You will receive a letter eventually with the amounts on it. And will also get payments into your bank account every 4 weeks. Plus the back-payment.
As you've been awarded Enhanced Mobility, you are eligible for the Motability scheme if that is something that you would be interested in.

it should be a nice back pay hopefully😊 it did take a while! i started on 0 points, went in for a reconsideration and ended up with 4! but then on appeal i ended up with 12 points on daily living and mobility!!
I see some people say the time scale is 4-6 weeks! i’m hoping mine arrives a little sooner. i have heard about the motability but i can’t drive so im not too sure. thank you though:)
