Hi, my name is elli8888! Why are they ringing?!
it’s a Saturday and at 9 am they rand dep - I ignored call as I was asleep - I have terrible sleep so I sleep when I can. When I checked they’d also sent a text saying they’d called and they’re calling again tonight at 10 am
Freaked me out I’m waiting for a tribunal date
Why are they ringing?! I already had advice from cab to just wait for tribunal date should they respect that? Now it’s ruined my weekend and I’m really anxious and upset now. And I’m about to cancel my friend coming up to see me as I’m too anxious now. I’m really annoyed. They don’t usually work past 3.40 pm or they’re putting their coats on at 4 anyway. Not a fan. Sounds like you guys have had calls too! I tried calling the number back and the headmistress voice dnottily said no need to call us back and hung up. Rejection! Drama.

Who rang? Was it PIP? If so and you recently requested the Tribunal they sometimes ring before responding to the Tribunal if they have any questions to ask. Before they respond they review your claim and look at all evidence you sent.
They sometimes work Saturday so it’s not unusual for them to ring on that day. Although you mentioned they said they would ring back tonight and 10 but I wouldn’t expect them to ring at that time.

Hey @elli8888 and welcome to the community.
I'm sorry to hear your anxiety is so bad you had to cancel meeting your friend. That sounds like quite the mysterious call, as Poppy has asked, was it definitely the DWP?

hi
Well yesterday - yes Sunday! The pip rang and gave me back my enhanced rate just before the tribunal ! I’m so relieved. But- I’ve been stressed for over a year about this as it kept being pushed back after the MR so I’m ok til 2027 now but I do know how hard it is for the waiting an do the feelings of I’m not worthy.

Hi @elli8888. I'm so glad it's been a positive outcome for you. The waiting is awful but now that parts over you can relax 😊
