Right of access

Hi I put in request for right of access about 3 weeks ago [2nd august], I still haven’t heard anything yet, is there anything I can do to find out, a way to contact them? thank you.

Hi @heather12. They usually take 4 weeks. You would need to contact the organisation that you've requested information from to get an update. Hope that helps.

hi I requested it from the dwp, this is what I got when I completed the form online, I have had no correspondence since, I did have look to find a contact number for them but no luck thus far.

It hasn't been 1 month yet since you requested it. You also need to allow time for the post to arrive and that can take anything up to 2 weeks from DWP.

Thank you for the reply poppy, people said they have had a letter confirming the request, I did ask for a lot so maybe that could be why too.

No problem. When I last requested this myself I didn't receive a letter confirming the request.
