PIP Back Payment

After reading a few posts on here and Google about the back pay it's got me worried.
I got my letter 3 weeks ago to say I was awarded the higher mobility from July last year but have had no letter regarding money owed.
From what I've read people usually get the money owed before they get the actual letter about the award?

If this was a review decision and your new award was higher, it's not unusual for them not pay what is owed straight away, no idea why they often do this. You will need to ring PIP to ask them what's happening and they will be able to give you the information you need.
