I received a text from pip today saying this...... Thanks for claiming Personal Independence Payment. We will shortly send you a 'How your disability affects you' form. You'll need to fill it in carefully and return it to us so we can see if we can award you PIP.

Does anyone know why

Did you put a claim in? If you did, you have to fill out a form to explain how your disability/conditions affects your day to day life.

I see from a recent previous thread that you said you had your assessment not long ago, is that correct? If so then the text could have been sent in error but I'd advise you to ring PIP on Monday when they open to ask why you received that text.

Yes I have already had the assessment over the phone then I received that text am a little confused

I had my assessment on the 30th

It's most likely an error, and wasn't supposed to be sent to you.

I'm not sure, I did mine online too. And it only gives me the option to add more evidence.

Yeah. I think it's just an error, you've already had your assessment, so you'd be waiting on a decision and this can take some time.
