my daughter is on pip and esa,she is going into a joint tenancy with her sister who is also her carer,how do we go about getting her half of the rent paid.its very confusing as we haven’t done this before.Thanks in advance for any help

Your daughter would need to claim Universal Credit to get help with the rent, known as Housing Element.
This will end any income related ESA (she will be entitled to one further payment of two weeks ESA after claiming), any contribution based ESA will continue but be deducted in full from the Universal Credit award.
