Hello. I would like to pop a question regarding PIP mobility. I have recently learned that the mobility part of PIP is not only for physical problems someone may have, it also extends to mental problems also. The part i do not understand is, if you are over retirement age, you will not be able to go from standard to enhanced mobility, as per physical problem, but, is the rule the same if someone develops a mental problem after retirement. Thank all.

Hiya @shortsocks and welcome to the community.
PIP mobility cannot be increased after retirement age, only the daily living component unfortunately. So physical issues or mental issues, the mobility component cannot be changed I'm afraid.0 -
Many thanks for the info. Shortsocks.
