Hi, my name is gailyspragg! lwcra should not affect council tax, is that right?

I have recently been awarded Lwcra..I am under Gateshead council.I work 4 hours per week, My Coucil tax has gone sky high..It states somewhere that lwcra should not affect council tax though..

Please help..

I've had a little look online and have found this link which may be of use to you? Your council say you need to report any changes to them and would need to apply for a council tax reduction. I hope that helps. 😊
