Hi, my name is Riachoo! UC requested statement of reasons after tribunal. How long will this go on?
December 2023 our UC was stopped due to us not signing our commitments. Why didn't we sign? Because the agent handling our claim closed our claim simultaneously, we never received a notification and couldn't view it.
We've taken it to a 1st tier tribunal and won on the 23rd of July. It is now 1the 10th of September and we are no further forward, as DWP has requested a statement of reasons from the tribunal. We've called both parties and they can't give us a timeframe on when this will be provided. Any ideas on how long this will go on?
We know DWP can appeal, but only if they there was a significant legal error, which we know they don't have because we have proof the mistake was solely with DWP.
Help.

Hi @Riachoo, welcome to the community. I'm afraid this isn't something I've been through but I hope some of our members will find your post and can share their thoughts.
Sorry to read you had to go through this whole process though, it sounds pretty stressful! Hope you're able to bring it to a close sooner rather than later!
