Hi there @calmbeforethestorm and welcome tothe community.

I'm so sorry to hear your daughters award has been lowered, I understand how tough that must be, but all is not lost, so please try not to worry. You can now ask for a mandatory reconsideration (MR) within a month of the change in award. I recommend doing this in writing and explaining how your daughter is affected by each descriptor, with real life examples and consequences if possible.

Hi, I spoke to DWP and her initial mobility claim was based on her unable to walk and mobility she’s getting splints this week and has physio regular. They said this current decision is mainly due to her eyes and they’re saying her prescription -9 at 5 isn’t that bad. Or doesn’t constitute mobility however the claim was given initially till 2036 was due to her walking. She said she will speak to the decision maker and call me back. Looks like the didn’t go through the initial notes. I was on a work call and was all over the place due to this decision
