Pip review

I have applied for pip last month. Sent of the forms the IAS have received thr forms on the 16th of August, but looking on the ias site they have shut down, and any forms will be moved?
How long until I hear a decision back? One person on the phone said 2-5 weeks another said 8 weeks from the 16th, I'm scared I might not get it. Bit I have researched and answered to my best as I have a learning disability. No text or call about a assessment yet. I sent of my medication forms in a photocopy style for them. And other supporting needs. I'm scared I won't get it but this would help me a lot. How long will the waiting time take? I'm anxiously waiting everyday. My dad did the forms for me, due to me having a learning disability so understanding won't be great.
The only text I received from them was, this: Hello from Independent Assessment Services. We conduct Personal Independence Payment (PIP) assessments for the Department for Work and Pensions DWP. This is for information purposes only, to let you know that we are managing your PIP assessment. We will look at the available evidence and will contact you with an appointment if we need to have a consultation with you. You can find information about the service we provide at https://www.mypipassessment.co.uk. You do not need to contact us.
Does this mean they have received my forms and are making a decision or are in a queue now... I really hope I get It but knowing people's past with assessments they can lie...

I also let my dad do the forms for me as I'm not capable of answering properly:)

Hi @ryleyyg, welcome to the community 😊 It can be really worrying waiting to hear back! Unfortunately, it's difficult to say how long it will take. Some people find it's quite quick and others say theirs took a few weeks, it can vary a lot.
You could try ringing the PIP enquiries line to see if they can find out what's happening for you. They don't always know, but it could be worth a try.
PIP enquiry line:
Telephone: 0800 121 4433I've popped both of your posts about this into one place so that it's easier for you to find the replies, I hope that's okay.
Fingers crossed that you're not waiting too long!

I've already tried ringing they're not quite helpful for me, only said to me that I have to wait 8 weeks I've tried asking for more info but they won't give any.

@Rosie_Scope thanks for the response 😊 I'm hoping it doesn't last long, and that I get it. I mean I am diagnosed with learning disability so I should get it my dad answered the questions good for me, explaining how I struggle with interactions with people etc so I might get it

@Rosie_Scope update I have received yet another text A Health Professional is looking at your PIP claim. They will contact you with an appointment if they need to. You only need to contact us if your circumstances change.
I'm scared that I'll have to appeal again, which will most likely be the case. But is there a chance that I could get it?
