Tribunal Hearing Tuesday 17th September

Hi there everyone ,
After 16 months the day has nearly arrived . I gave my Tribunal Hearing on Tuesday . I am getting quite anxious about it and trying to keep as calm as possible . My health issues has deteriorated quite drastically since my initial Assessment, but trying to focus on the points which were not given then, which I believe should have been awarded.
I received 6 points for Daily Living and 4 points for Mobility .
Do they ask you anything about your condition as it is now ?
Many thanks
Julie 😊

Heya @JulieAnne11 it's great to hear the day is nearly here, but I totally understand you'll be feeling quite anxious, I know I was with my first tribunal. But honestly, it was a very relaxed environment. The tribunal were all super lovely and caring. They may ask about your conditions now, but their main focus is making sure you're awarded the correct number of points. But if your conditions are worse now, I'm sure it'll be asked. Best of luck!

Thank you very much for your reassurance, it means a lot 😊.
To be honest I would be more than happy with the two points for Daily living which I know I am entitled to. There are three areas we're the points have not been awarded. We're I feel they should have been.
I am going to go with an open mind on Tuesday, and hope for the best, but be prepared for the worse.

Yes of course it's very important as it gives people support and gives people some knowledge what to expect from the Tribunal experience be it a positive or a negative result. I have read that sometimes a person from DWP is at the Tribunal, as anyone else experienced this ?
Thank you for your support 😊 🙏 💕

They always say someone from the DWP will be there, but I've never heard of anyone actually attending.0 -
