Pip review txts

hi everyone i sent my pip review forms off last oct and since then ive had random txts every now and they to say they still have my pip form and will contact me soon.
ive had no face to face or phone assessment done.
i had this txt last week..
Your PIP review is complete. You should receive your decision letter in 2 weeks. Once you receive your letter, contact us if you have any questions. Do not call before you get the letter as we will not be able to tell you the decision. Please remember to contact us if your circumstances change.
Have one else had these txts without having a phone call or meeting?
what is the likelihood my pip will continue. Ive still not had the letter snd im worrying.

Sounds like you've had a paperbased assessment. This means the DWP decision maker has been able to complete the review from information/evidence you provided in the form without the need for an assessment. Which in my experience and many on here is a good sign. You can ring them at 9am on Monday and will tell you over the phone what the decision is but as stated very rare for no award with paperbased assessment.

As lewis mentions it sounds like you have had a paper based assessment @cdf99
This is usually a good sign, though it doesn't mean you cannot appeal the decision if you think you should receive more than the decision maker has decided.

Hi cdf99,
I had exactly the same text and took the advice of TheManFromLondon and called DWP to ask when was my review date and was amazed when I was told October 2034 ! I think is probably due to me coming up to State Retirement age as I will be 66 next month.
I still didn't know at what level the award was assessed at, then the letter arrived stating both components at same enhanced rate.
This is thanks to all the information and advice on this forum which advises us not to just write no change on the review form but to give lots of detail. The only evidence I attached this time, to the review form was a print off from my medical record.
Thanks everyone for all your tips.
