What is Scope’s online community?
Scope’s online community is a safe and welcoming online space where disabled people and their families can talk about the things that matter to them. Our members can browse our categories and create discussions or post comments to ask questions, make friends and share their experiences.
The online community's mission is to create a space where disabled people:
- can freely make friends and end their social isolation
- find people in similar situations
- get the answers they need to the questions they ask
- share experiences without fear of judgement or ridicule
Scope’s Online Community Team
Scope’s Online Community Team administer and moderate the online community. The Online Community Team’s goals are to:
- create a friendly and respectful environment
- moderate consistently
- help solve conflicts fairly
- support the community in reaching its goals
