hello everyone could someone help or advise me please I handed in my 1st sick note 29th feb I had accessment in June got letter that I got it on 19th of sep my acessment period is 26th till 25th I get 1st payment on 1st oct am I due any back pay please any advice would be greatly appreciated than you

If 29th Feb was the same date you reported your health condition then your waiting period will be.. March/April, April/May, May/June.. LCWRA element starts from 26th June to 25th July and first payment would be 1st August.

If you reported your health condition at the start of Feb/March assessment period then your first payment will be 1st July.

This is assuming there were no gaps in your fit notes up until the decision was made.

If there's any money owed it will be paid as a separate payment and often takes quite a few weeks to pay it.
