Hi, my name is soph73! Will my son's UC and PIP affect my ESA?

I am receiving income based esa and pip disability higher rate and mobility higher rate my son just moved in with me he is autistic he made a claim for universal credit and pip will this affect my esa

If your ESA includes the Severe Disability Premium because you were living alone or treated as living alone then you will lose that. If your son is eventually awarded daily living PIP then you can re-claim the SDP. You will need to ring ESA to report the changes.
If you're claiming for help with any rent there will not be any non dependant deductions because your PIP includes the daily living part. You will still need to report changes and you may also be entitled to more housing benefit, unless housing benefit already cover your whole rent.
