Mobility chair needed

Hi everybody. My name is Callee. I joined the community to try and find help for my friend. She is wheelchair bound because of several tumors, one of which is 700 pounds. She needs another Hooveround or something like it, that converts to a bed. She is having problems getting a new one through her insurance, so I'm trying to find out if there is an organization that may donate one to her. Any information given will be greatly appreciated.

    Are you and your friend located in the United States? Scope is a UK charity, so I'm afraid we might be a little limited on what we can suggest for your friend. as a lot of our resources are based over here

    Sorry to hear she's struggling to get what she needs through insurance. Some people have had success crowdfunding for equipment in the past, would that be an option for your friend? I know it's not always the most ideal option.
