Hi, my name is Lottie27! DLA claim dropped to lower rate despite no changes, any advice?

my daughters DOA claim was dropped from MRC LRM to LRC even though I let them know nothing had changed since her previous claim. I’m set to do a MR Monday morning but this can take months and my income will now be £600 less. I’m so stressed about this because nothing has changed about my daughter’s claim. Has anyone had to deal with this before?

Did you mean DLA rather than DOA? For the MR request you should put that in writing stating why you disagree with the decision and why you think she should have been awarded a higher award.
It's never a good idea to ring to request it because how do you know the call handler is tying what you ask them to.
There's a really good guide here that maybe helpful for you when writing the MR letter or Tribunal, if it gets that far and it may well do because most MR decisions remain the same.
The DLA rates mentioned in the guide are not the current ones, they are from the previous tax year. It doesn't really matter about that because the information in it is still relevant.

yes I meant DLA. The reason I believe the time I care for my child haven’t been taken in to consideration is because the letter states low rate because child gets upto an hour extra care a day. That is absolutely not true and gets extra care all day and through the night as she cannot be left unattended due to risky behaviour. I don’t mind if they write things down over the phone.
