Hi wondering if can help when my firsr lwrca payment will be due

Your waiting period will be Sept to Dec.. LCWRA starts from assessment period 5th Dec to 4th Jan and first payment will not be until 11th January 2025. No LCWRA element is owed. Your decision was made extremely quickly.

If you or a partner were receiving earnings since you provided your first fit note and you didn't have the work allowance, you'll be owed some money from that.

Based on the information you provided above then it would not be Oct or November. The waiting period is 3 full assessment periods starting from when you provided your first fit note. It's then paid from the 4th month, with first payment being the end of that month.

If you have access to a journal please check that to see exactly what date you provided your first fit note.

Then my advice is correct. Full explanation as follows.

5th Aug to 4th Sept.. fit note provided in middle of this assessment period so it doesn't count.

5th Sept to 4th Oct.. 1 month

5th Oct to 4th Nov.. 2 months

5th Nov to 4th Dec.. 3 months..

LCWRA starts from assessment period 5th Dec to 4th Jan and first payment will be 11th January 2025. You are not owed any LCWRA element.
