Hi everyone I had a text this morning saying I have been Awarded just wondering how long I should wait for a payment I did apply back in July 22nd 2024. Will this be backdated. ? Is there a number I can call to find out what pip I get and how much and when ? Thank you

That's great news! Money owed will be in your bank 3-5 working days after payment was sent.
If you ring them you can ask when to expect the money into your bank and they will tell you. They can also tell you what your award is.

@poppy123456 I've just called them I'm so happy! Should get backdated payment in few days and they said my normal payment will be 18th October does this mean it will fall on 18th or each month now ? X

As mentioned you will get backpack and because of this is the reason for any delay in receiving payments. Based on your award, payment amounts differ so calculating what's owed takes DWP emplyees a while, [Edited by moderator: possibly uncivil comment]
Even though you may have been struggling money wise I would hold off contacting the DWP, one as the person on the phone will have no exact date of payment and two as I think if you do contact them it is my experience that they will go out of thier way to take longer.

payment will be every 4 weeks not monthly 18th october being your 1st payment then your next would be 15th of november and so on

@michael57 oh right I get you lol just that used to same date of UC. so it could fall on different dates each month

It will be a different date every month but will always be on a Friday every 4th week.

As I advised in my first comment above, they will actually tell you what date to expect payment into your bank because they can see it on the system.
