I'm sorry to hear that you are keeping getting harassed.

Sorry to hear you feel you're being chased by the NSC @BrainfartsHere I'm afraid I cant give any answers as to why you've suddenly received an influx of correspondence, but I just wanted to stop in and welcome you to the community.

I've not added my details any where ..top left says DWP ..Only the DWP would know I'd recently had a call, would know my 1st name ,phone number and email..Looks and sounds genuine especially when you Google them doing a survey on behalf of the DWP..

What an insult, particularly for someone heading into retirement with known ill-health. What a waste of money 😑 more proof that WE keep THEM in work.
Isn't it a bit late in the day to be conducting market research?

And yet those of us who have actually sent them letters about what disabled people need to be in work (those who can) - which is largely less harassment from government agencies and more engagement from government in employing equal access to work by educating employers and enforcing equality legislation…they don't seem interested.
I have a job, I got it under my own steam, but it's temporary because I work in local govt and they keep cutting the budgets. I'm autistic, so I'm one of only 22% of autistic people successfully in work. One of my colleagues is also autistic. Her job is also at risk because of reshuffles and threatened cuts. That's two autistic people who got jobs without any help from govt but who govt might end up making redundant if they do not tackle the real problems of job insecurity and access/opportunities.
The last time I had a permanent position, it was culled by Cameron's austerity, while he was going on about getting disabled people into work. They need to start harassing employers to offer more work placement opportunities and equality training to staff, rather than bothering disabled people and trying to make out we're the problem.I've had full scale melt down breakdowns over trying to get jobs before, because there is literally no support. And if they make it regional, there will still be no support here, because, frankly, there's no money.

Thank you. Me too. And that's nothing new. This rigmarole of making disabled people disproportionately unemployed has been going on for years. I first encountered it with Cameron's austerity, but it's been going on continuously since. Most local govt departments are forced into cuts every year, while being expected to pick up higher workloads. There's a myth that public servants are paid more than in the private sector, but most front line staff are not, and are the most vulnerable, as people in offices prioritise their own.
It's a vicious cycle really. And all of it with the backdrop of lazy disabled people not doing their bit for the economy. These cuts are enabled by people believing lies about public sector pay. I remember during austerity, I was earning less in a year than the cost of a new car at the time, but the press kept going on about greedy public servants with their snouts in the trough earning a small fortune.
Maybe some were, but not anyone I knew.0 -
Thanks for all replies..I really wanted to make people aware of this survey ..as there are no others mentioning it on line ..Obviously they don't want us to be aware ..What use is a £5 love to shop voucher to a disabled person..As explained previously, definitely no good to me ..

How then will Natcen get money from the budget? Natcen needs money, not disabled people! I note that the cost of maintaining servers with spam and analyzing the response to spam is ridiculous; DWP could easily do this research themselves. Allocating Natcen money for research is the worst way to spend your budget.

You should be able to make a request to them to delete your phone number. There is a right under GDPR law for you to make this request of them.
