LCWRA

hi I’m just looking for a bit of advice on LCWRA and when will it be paid to me.. I uploaded my first sick note 3/06/2024 and my second sick note 02/09/2024. I was awarded LCWRA on 13/09/2024 and received 2 months worth of back payment a few days after the day I was awarded LCWRA, I’m just wondering when my actual first payment of LCWRA will be.. my assessment periods are from the 16th to the 15th.. thank you

If there were no gaps in your fit notes up until the decision was made then your waiting period will be as follows.
June/July, July/Aug, August/Sept.. LCWRA element starts from 10th Sept to 9th October and first payment will be 16th October. Your first payment should have been this month.
If there were no gaps in your fit notes please check that the 3/06 was the actual date you provided your first fit note, rather than the date on the fit note itself. If you provided it later than that date then this maybe when you haven't received payment yet.
The money that was owed to you could have been from the work allowance, if either yourself or partner were receiving earnings and didn't previously have the work allowance.

If that was the same date you reported your health condition then first payment will be next month.

Heya @Jlc9020 and welcome to the community. 😁
I see Poppy has already answered your questions, but I just wanted to stop in and say a quick hi. Congratulations on your LCWRA award, that must be a huge relief?
