Uc claim
Hi all need some advice so my partner is my carer on uc claim he's down as self employed but can't go to work due to his own problems we did tell uc 2 years ago but nothing else has been said he just been reporting 0 earnings because he hasn't been getting anything any advice plz

As a carer he has no work commitments anyway. If you are claiming the LCWRA element for yourself then even if he does provide fit notes and goes through the work capability assessment himself, he will not receive any extra money. This is because you can only receive 1 LCWRA element per claim.

Ok that is fine yes they did tell him before he didn't have to go he tried for about a year and I no we can only get one lwrca that is fine my worker was meant help me sort this out but she told me othrt day it will be OK tojust keep putting 0 as he won't rinf them up with his ainexty I can't because am always stressing all these phone calls make me so poorly
