The decision maker accepted my reason for late submission for my disability child element on my uc claim and said it’s been accepted for it to be backdated under special circumstances

Does anyone no how long it takes to get the backdated payment?

Hey @torriel94, I don't know about any specific wait time unfortunately. It can take several weeks, if you want to try and find a more accurate possible time you will unfortunately have to contact Universal Credit yourself.

Backpayments usually take at least a few weeks to be calculated and paid.

I have done so they also said there’s no timescale as they need to calculate the amount 🙂
