pip assessment review coming up

All forms been sent off.. I got pip 3 years ago for PTSD low rate... had fibromyalgia for years and years only got diagnosed 2yrs ago never put in first time as no diagnosis so left that out... with the trauma I had 3 years ago it's sent my health downward.. I can't walk now pain all over... I've done is much prep as much as I can... in that I understand what it is they want to know and how to explain it correctly.. still anxious as anything... I know to record it myself... don't answer what if questions and don't let them lead you to maybe I can... is there anything I'm missing? and has anyone had the higher rate after gotten worse? I get alot of help of my father he pretty much is my full time career and my girls have had to spend over 60% of the week with him as I just can't do it Constantly anymore... it's probably heading he will have them full time.. I'd give anything not to be writing this fibromyalgia has taken my life from underneath my feet... literally... I get really down about it if I'm honest... any help would be appreciated or anyone got positive experience as all I see is negative

Make sure you don't answer any questions with a simple yes or no. Try to go into as much detail as possible. Those yes or no answers can lead to all sorts of assumptions. Some people find it helpful to write notes before the assessment. It can last anywhere from 20 to 120 minutes.
Yes, it is possible to be awarded more points for a worsening of condition but for this you will need to meet the descriptors and score those points.
I've claimed PIP since 2013 and was claiming standard for both to start with. In 2016 after a review I was awarded standard daily living and Enhanced mobility and yes my conditions go worse. Last week I had a paper based decision on my reviewed and now been awarded Enhanced for both parts. It was a normal review and I did report changes in the form I filled in.
Once the report is returned a decision can take up to 12 weeks.

Hey @sunrise99, it does sound like you've prepped well. I usually recommend having someone with you during the assessment to help with remembering what to bring up to help make sure nothing is missed and just for general support. Is there anyone who can be with you like your dad?

Yes my dad will be in back ground to help my dad has printed of the points system and I've told him to write pointers I won't forget... like for dressing I've put... pain fatigue... needs help... needs promoting... and depression... so I need to get all that in my explanation for it... it's actually a good tip I got online...
