Hi, my name is Toz123! recently migrated to uc, but no one has contacted my husband. Why?
I've recently migrated to uc I'm self employed and on pip , my husband is on pip doesn't work due to his disabilities, I went to my meeting at the job centre , she explained as I'm my husbands carer I'm not held to the minimum floor income and won't be listed as gainfully self employed . But that's only contact we've had my husbands been waiting for a call for a week and it won't let me apply for an advance .. what would be the reason for this.. got nothing in mu to do list and my hubby's just got we will call you in his .. TIA

Hi,
Has your husband accepted claimant commitments yet? If not, that can cause a payment block. They can do that over the phone so that is most likely the call he is waiting for.

Ah right that's it then , he hasn't had a phone call yet , they said they'd call and that's been there since last weds , so I might need to ring helpline and prompt them . Thank you
