Hi, my name is Nicki14!ESA to UC. Told I dont have to supply fit notes. Is this right?

I have been claiming ESA Support Group LCWRAG benefit without a break I have recently had letter from Universal Credit letter 7 October to move over to UC benefit I did application on line, on the 25 I had message on journal that I had to provide a sick note to my understanding I should not have to provide a sick note my ESA claim should automatically be transferred over to UC has anyone else had this problem.
Thanks

This is standard procedure for anyone claiming UC for the first time. The reason you've been asked this is because they do not yet know that you were claiming ESA in the Support Group.
ESA need to send your details across to UC and this can take up to a few weeks. Until then, if you haven't already you need to put a message onto your journal and tell them you were in the Support Group.
You do not need to provide a fit note and you won't need another assessment. You'll be entitled to the LCWRA element from the start of your claim.
