Lcwra backpayment help please
hi, I was wondering if someone can advise as I’ve put a message in my journal 2 weeks ago and still not had a reply. My AP is 15th to 14th, i was told I was found to have lcwra on 17th June. I was told that I would not see this on my UC payments until 3 full AP, which would make it my December payment? However, I read somewhere that you are entitled to lcwra money from the 13th or 14th week after being found to have lcwra. Could anyone shed some light as to if I am entitled to any back payment and how it all works because I’m really confused and not having much help from UC. I hope this makes sense. Thank you so much x

There is a waiting period of 3 full assessment periods before LCWRA is added to your payment.
This can mean no money is owed as it's not paid at all during the waiting period.
In order to help we will need to know the following:
The date you provided your first Fit Note
Were there any gaps in your Fit Notes?
Your assessment period & payment dates.

The 13 weeks apply to ESA and not UC. Based on the information you gave your waiting period will be July/Aug, Aug/Sept, Sept/Oct.. LCWRA starts from 15th Oct to 14th November and first payment will be 21st November. You're not owed any LCWRA element due to the waiting period.
Please check this months statement when you receive it to make sure the element is included.
