Challenging times - what do you get up to?
Hello. Due to a big decline in my condition getting out and about is very challenging. Limited to a powered mobility aid. Not been able to work it can get quite boring at times. I was wondering what everyone gets up to

Hey @Peteofpeth, welcome to the community 😊 I personally do tend to spend quite a bit of time in online communities, such as this one! Though I recognise for many it often isn't enough and it is nice to see people in person often.
Though you are limited where you can travel somewhat is there a local library or community centre you are able to get to?

if able I find knitting, colouring, painting and drawing really good fun. I also like doing paint by numbers and Lego. I’ve recently started making bracelets with embroidery threads. All things can be done from bed! The work you produce doesn’t have to be ‘good’! I also find looking at pictures of the woods for example and writing a short story helpful. It can become very isolating, so if you have any friends or family who are happy to pop in even if just for 10 mins or for some silent company definitely reach out to them!
