Hi @gracious55 Welcome to the Community. I hope you enjoy your time on the forum. Any questions just ask.

My illness affects my everyday life but I do try to still socialise where I can.

Is there anyway you have a friend or family member that could visit you at home.

Not socialising at all can mean we get very isolated and lonely.

The Scope forum is friendly and supportive and it would be lovely to see you joining in.

Perhaps start with the Coffee Lounge under Categories for chats.

You have taken the first step by joining the Scope forum. Do you have any hobbies you could share with us?

    Take care.

Hi @gracious55 and welcome to the community. I'm sorry you've stopped socialising. What led you to stop?

We have lots of lovely members in the community who can relate to you and share their own experiences. As Bluebell said, the Coffee Lounge is a great place to start a conversation or join in!

My ADHD affects me everyday in too many ways to count sometimes 😅 . Sort of hard to tell what is due to ADHD and what is just me. With my Crohn's that's easier though, I used to be very ill with it until they put me on some medication that finally put it into remission for me. Now the only way it really has an effect on my life is diet. I still avoid quite a lot of foods and need regular B12 injections.

I have had issues with getting out and meeting people too though. Places like here, the community, provide a chance to still communicate and connect with people 🙂
