Just received a text from dwp saying they have received my written report and will make a decision within 8 weeks. The assessor said I should hear within 4 ( which was obviously untrue).I am so unstressed by this whole pip situation surprisingly.

I seem to have posted a duplicate post (sorry)

They must have literally thousands to get through as I started in September

The timescale is up to 12 weeks but that's just a guide. Some people have decisions as quick as a week, others a couple of weeks and some several, at times even longer than 12 weeks. Backlogs and each individual cases all cause delays.
Once a decision is made you will be contacted.
