Hi, my name is Corrina24! PIP backpay still not paid into my account.

I was awarded full mobility pip,as my health is just getting worse and not ever getting better.Anyway I got awarded it and pip owed me £847 in backdated.But a long story short,U.C kept hold of it for a reason which is now resolved,so they apologised to me,Then sent the money back to debt management (2weeks ago now).I spoke to a lovely gentleman there who said yes they recovered it back from u.c,but only £640.Which he told me it would be in my bank within 5 working days.That was the 18,11.2024.I still have not revived this money.So Monday the 25.11.2024 I rang debt management again,which he said it had been released to my bank,and I should be receiving it asap king of thing.I’ve tried my bank agai today,but still no £640,What can I do please ,I have had to borrow £50 from my daughter,to get me through,but I’m now worried for when I will be able to pay it back to her.Also £411 is going to be paid to my rent,as I’d only just mooved into a bungalow because of my health,and was supposed to pay a month in advance,which I am going to do on reviving this money owed to me.Please can someone help and advise me what to do.as I’m so worried.Thankyou

Firstly congratulations on your PIP award, that's great news! Regarding the backpay owed, I'm so sorry this is taking forever to sort out. Have you thought of contacting your local MP? They can often speed things up considerably.
