Hello everyone. I have just been diagnosed with C.O.P.D., I worked underground as a coal miner for the NCB National Coal Board, I worked underground for 10 years and wondered if I could still claim for this.

I know, that in the past, miners claimed for industrial diseases and wondered if this was still possible.

I've had a look online for you and it appears there's a three year cut off date from when you were diagnosed, so if you've just had your diagnosis you may be able to make a claim. There's some information here which would be worth you reading.
