I get universal credit and lcwrc

Today I get massage from universal cradit if my partner carrer on me (carrer element) my housing benfit and council tax reduction will be cancel

disability premium can some one explain to me

Because I'm confused??

As you're claiming UC there's no disability premiums payable with this. You will only be claiming housing benefit if you live in either temporary or supported housing. If you don't then your rent will be included with your UC known as housing element. Your partner claiming carers element for looking after you will not affect your benefits.

Are you claiming UC as a couple?

That’s probably a standard letter they send but your partner claiming carers element will not affect your UC in a bad way.

I’m also assuming that you are the one that receives the LCWRA element? The reason i ask is because the same person can receive both elements at the same time.

That’s a standard letter they send out when someone claims carers element for looking after you. Your partner claiming this will not affect your UC in a bad way.

I can also see your partners full name in that screenshot you posted. Personal information isn’t allowed on the community to protect you. I’ve flagged it to the scope team who will edit or remove it.

Sorry I can’t advise about that because all local Authorities have their own rules. It’s usually calculated based on your UC award.
