Hi. Still haven't received carers allowance forms

Hi i have contacted the carers allowance and I have asked if my letter has been sent out it's been 3weeks now they should have sent it out. What do they have to check. I'm not working as I have been caring for my mum past 10years. I don't claim child tax credit,working tax credit etc. So what's the problem

It's probably a delayed delivery by Royal Mail. They prioritise parcels over letters, and mail volumes overall will be increased this month, leading to even slower deliveries.

There's nothing to check, which you were advised of. All they do is send the letter out. Thankfully, you don't need it for anything urgent so hopefully you'll receive it soon.
