why did social event turn out be awful twice time i went to social events

Have you had experience going to social events for dating and meeting new people but it's be awful both times? I go to social events for in city centre Last two times I already was disappointed and was bored out of my mind. It was same guy that were there that i wasn't sure about as well . there is nothing much in anything to in my town . that is only reason i go to city centre to be more social but so far is i been is has can be hit or missed but is has be mainly been missed . i was only women there twice . just men just talk to each other . just only one person come up but wasn't much interested in dating . I'm not sure about a guy that i have message me from WhatsApp's seem to be wasn't sure but did try to push being faster but i didn't want to go to fast .and did sent more then one thing through links . did blocked one his number . did had more then one phone number . social events was for learning disabilities . I'm okay bit but i feel like I'm seem to stuck at one person at time but some reason my attracted has be in or out of different time . not attracted to one person that i met there that did started talking about his exgf about being his best friend . i met other guys there . some of them was age was the issue . my mum will also comes with me when social events . did take the train into city centre . i think one was awful was because of the weather at time . did went home early after paying for tickets for tram to another train station since is was very windy to walk train station that was last Thursday.

Sorry you've had some bad experiences lately @Katiedimelow20. Social events can be boring sometimes, and the weather has been terrible so I bet that didn't help either!

Hopefully you'll have a better time the next time you go. Are there any special events happening for Christmas?

@Rosie_Scope nope not really anything special event happing with  Christmas was the last Thursdays was like the for Christmas there nothing else . is only going to be my parents with me most this Christmas and i already fed up with both my mum & dad . my mum still comes with me when come going to social events . yet still trying to get me go outside of the house . i already do . i get very frustrated around my mum still . i can't wait until next years . this has be mixed bag . there is nothing in my town for social events part from sports .

That sounds tough @Katiedimelow20, I remember that you've had lots of problems with your mum and it can be really difficult at home. Sorry that things aren't easy at the moment, it must be frustrating when there isn't much to do in your town.

I hope you can still have a peaceful Christmas and maybe next year there will be some more fun events to try out.

@Rosie_Scope  nothing else special happinng when come Xmas. Thar already happened last thrusdsy . That’s will be it until first Thursday of each month.
