Claiming uc for extra bedroom

Hello, as above. I am moving home shortly as I need an extra bedroom for a carer to stay at night. I understand I must.log on and inform uc of my new address and rent amount. Do I do this.on my date.of moving or before this date and how do I claim for the two bedroom rate ? Simply.request in my journal.? I am in receipt of enhanced mobility and care parts of ADP. Thank you

    UC isn't geared up for future changes, so let them know your new rent amount on the day you move.

    Yes you can add a request to Journal for the extra bedroom.
