My partner was paid Indistrial Injuries Benefit for a fixed year. He is now worse than he was when he first applied and has now reapplied to get it reinstated. He has heard nothing for months. Does anyone know if there are delays at the moment?

Thanks for your help.

Hi @H0rizons21 and welcome to the community! 😊

My initial thought is have you contacted the team to check up on your application? They may be able to give you an idea of timescales and where in the process you're application is. If you have, let me know the outcome and we can go from there.

If you haven't yet, I've added some details for the team I hope will be helpful:

    Link to gov. website:

Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit: Overview - GOV.UK

    IIDB helpline

    Telephone: 0800 121 8379

    Textphone: 0800 169 0314

Relay UK (if you cannot hear or speak on the phone): 18001 then 0800 121 8379

British Sign Language (BSL) video relay service if you’re on a computer - find out how to use the service on mobile or tablet

Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm

    Find out about call charges

I hope you don't mind but I've also updated your post title to add some detail of your question, just to help other members find you as they might have some information based on their experience that might be helpful. Hope that's ok.

I hope you enjoy your time on the forum.

    Best wishes,

    Holly.

Thank you so much for your help. I’ll update you in New Year as probably best to ring then.
