LCWRA help!
Hi
I've been off sick from work coming up to three months in January.
I have a current universal credit claim, and I submitted a change of circumstances regarding my health, and gave the dates for my sick note which lasts three months.
I asked to apply for LCWRA, and they said that I just had to keep sending in sick notes until a work capability assessment is deemed appropriate.
I feel scared, when will the assessment be? I don't think I can go back to work, but I don't know if I can stay on in my job until I hopefully get LCWRA.

Once 28 days has passed since you reported the health condition, you are supposed to be referred to start the WCA process.
You'll be sent a letter via Journal confirming the referral has been made and a UC50 form will be sent in the post.
You'll send this to a health assessment provider who will then give an appointment for as assessment (most have them by phone or face to face).
It's impossible to say when this appointment will take place.
