Hi @shrinkydink. I don't have the best knowledge on this personally so I've marked it as unanswered on the forum to highlight it to members who might have experienced this.
I've also found a Gov link that I think might be helpful. If you go to around half way down page 4 there's a list of items that typically fall within the remit of unearned income however you might need to contact them to clarify which one if it doesn't immediately stand out to you from the list.
ADM Chapter H5: unearned income
I hope this is helpful to you. 🙂
Best wishes,
Holly

I have no idea what that £68.73 could be. PIP daily living amount is £72.65 anyway so even if they've made a mistake and counted it as "other income" it's the incorrect amount. I'd advise you to ring them to ask what it is and they will hopefully be able to tell you.

thanks i will ask my support worker to phone them, im really confused by it also. i wondered if it was some sort of disability premium.

Do you have any Transitional Protection on your UC claim?
Some councils count that as income.

i do yes so could well be that. thanks so much

If your TP is the same amount then yes it's probably that. It's difficult to advise with council tax because all LA's have their own rules.
