warm front scheme

Hi i receive the warm front scheme each year but not sure if i received it last year or which part of the year it is paid

I transfered my account in october from eon next to octupus so not sure if it was ever put on my eon next account. it gets put on it each year but cannot remember which part of the year.

i have checked with octupus and it is not on there. can anyone please let me know when it gets put on your account and if the government will put it on my new account or do i have to tell them

The criteria changed a few years ago so you may no longer qualify.

Do you mean the warm home discount? If so then for this year it’s based on your circumstances on 11th August so it would be when you were with EON. https://www.gov.uk/the-warm-home-discount-scheme/low-income-England-Wales

Being on low income isn’t the only criteria now, it also depends on the size and age of the home you live in. You can check entitlement here. https://www.gov.uk/check-if-youre-eligible-for-warm-home-discount

Usually it’s anytime from November. You should also receive a letter if you’re entitled.
