Universal credit APA
I'm currently receiving my uc payments bi-weekly through APA, when I initially asked for APA I had to wait a month I believe, my question is as I'm currently receiving APA, when will I receive my first weekly payment?.
my bi-weekly payments are currently due on the 21st and 5th each month.

Just to add I'm going to be asking for weekly payments Monday morning

I'm unsure exactly how this would work. All I can tell you is that they only usually agree to weekly payments in exceptional circumstances.

Ok no worries, I'm guessing I'll have to wait till the 21st + 7 days to receive a weekly payment starting from then but I'm not sure, will have to find out Monday unless someone else here knows how it works.

Hello @Ashleyb1. Is the 21st your main payment date or is the 5th? Do you know your assessment period dates?

Prior to starting the APA payment it was every 21st

@Ashleyb1, if they approve you for weekly payments, you should then receive your first 1 week payment on the 21st, and then again on around: 28th, 4th, 11th and again on the 21st.
The exact dates might change based on the month length and as there is not exactly 4 weeks in every month, sometimes you'll be waiting just over a week for payment. But your first payment will always be on the 21st.

Ok I get it, thanks for letting me know I'll get it sorted Monday

You may not have a decision on that on Monday. A decision maker is the only person that can make the decision.

That's fine as long as it takes in effect for the 21st I don't mind, if they decide to do it ofcourse, thanks poppy.
