The text is correct, up to a couple of weeks.

You can always phone them and ask what the award is 😊

I did try calling but it was an automated call and it told me when my next payment is due but it doesn't say what was awarded and also how long is it before you get backpay..

Backpay varies, sometimes it arrives before the award letter, other times it takes longer.

You need to stay on the phone until someone answers, which could be up to an hour, longer sometimes. Once payment is sent it takes 3-5 working days to go into your bank.
Please also be aware that the payment information you were given isn't always correct so you shouldn't rely on that.

Oh ok thank you poppy for that information about it not always being correct information I did stay on ths line but yes I was on hold for a long time so I cut call off .

Does payment get sent out after the txt message then

No, not always. The text Is usually sent the morning after a decision is made. Sometimes they make the payment on the same day the decision is made but again, not always.
If you ring them again try doing this tomorrow morning at 9am as that's usually the best time to ring.

Ok I will try that then thank you hopefully I will get letter soon aswell I wasn't expecting to be awarded it as its my first time applying and lots of people said you usually get refused the first time so I was very happy when I got the txt .do I need to ask for a copy of the assessment to see how it was scored or will that come in the letter when it arrives..

You're welcome. If you want a copy of the assessment report you need to ask them to send it because they don't automatically send it out.
Details of where you scored the points will in the decision letter but the report does go into more detail.

There will be no issues with them sending you a copy of the report.

hi all , I still haven’t received my decision yet but I phoned today and requested my copy of the report. Said it will be with me in 7-10 days. What is actually in the report I actually don’t get it. Thanks in advance 🫤

The report is a detailed account of the assessment that you had.

Thanku .the thing is I didn’t have an assessment, I’m on pip already but change of circumstances I have now got breast cancer and told pip this and this is where I am now .

You would have had what's known as a paper based assessment. These are done with minimal or even no verbal input from the person claiming.
The report will go into detail as to why the assessor gave you the points.

oh ok , thank you. They haven’t give me a decision yet😭 it’s the waiting game that does my head in and my anxiety is not good.

The DWP Decision Maker decides the claim, however they generally (but not always) follow the assessment recommendation.
Hopefully you get some clarity soon either with a decision letter or the copy of your assessment report 😊
