Hi what it is I don't know what is actually going on the dwp.are they just checking the universal credit and state pension claimants bank accounts? Or are they checking the means tested benefit claimants accounts?

They've always had the ability to check bank accounts but they don't check for no reason at all. If you're not claiming any means tested benefits, which I know you're not then there would be no reason to check.

Is there any reason for the concerns? You don't work and the only benefit you claim is carers allowance.
