    Have a question find it confusing this UC , have been in receipt of the benefit since August , filled out the lwcra been awarded it hope long before the extra payments begin thanks

    LCWRA has a waiting period of three full assessment periods, from the date the first Fit Note was handed in. No money is paid or subsequently owed for that period.

    We will need a bit more information before we can advise correctly.

    The date you reported health condition and the date you handed in your first Fit Note.

    Were there any gaps in handing in your Fit Notes, any backdated ones?

    Your UC assessment period dates or payment date.

    Do you have Transitional Protection, or Carers Element in your name?

    Do you claim UC with a partner who gets LCWRA themselves?
